  1. Heat 1 tbsp butter or ghee add the 300g of paneer, fry it for 2 mins, or just golden. Don't over fry the paneer it will turn hard. Drop the fried paneer in warm water till we use it. In the same pan add 1 tsp cumin seeds fry them. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste saute for a while. Grind onion puree and saute well.
  2. Add the Tomato Puree mix well, keep stirring continuously for 3 mins till it turns thick. Add 2 tsp chili powder, 3 tsp coriander powder, ⅓ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp salt.
  3. Mix everything well and cover and cook for 4 to 5 mins, or till the raw smell goes. Cover with a lid otherwise the masala will spill out of the Kadai. Add Thick curd and mix well. Cook again for 3 mins till the oil separates at the top. Always cook on medium flame otherwise the masala will burn. Now add the vegetables, I used gobi and green peas.
